IGT Must Face Aristocrat In Court

International Game Technology, just coming off of a legal victory against Bally's for patent infringement will have to go back to court on a case that was dismissed in June of last year for the same thing it claimed Bally's did.

Aristocrat Technologies an Australian based slot machine company is claiming that IGT infringed on its patents for Aristocrat's Hyperlink line of products. These are penny slots that offer the player a chance to win up to $1 million. The June decision stated that Aristocrat's patents were invalid, but the court ruling today ordered the case to proceed.
